BACKGROUND: The Eurasian grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) is the most widely cultivated and economically important horticultural crop in the world. As a one of the origin area, Anatolia played an important role in the diversification and spread of the cultivated form V. vinifera ssp. vinifera cultivars and also the wild form V. vinifera ssp. sylvestris ecotypes. Although several biodiversity studies have been conducted with local cultivars in different regions of Anatolia, no information has been reported so far on the biochemical (organic acids, sugars, phenolic acids, vitamin C) and antioxidant diversity of local historical table V. vinifera cultivars grown in Igdir province. Afin de produire des Indices de Composition pigmentaires (Ic), les indices de similarité de Bray-Curtis et de Kulczynski ont été calculés sur les matrices pigmentaires brutes (HPLC) et confrontés aux indicateurs de pressions disponibles, essentiellement nutriments et biomasse chlorophyllienne. Un volet est dédié à la façade atlantique et un autre à la Manche orientale.

Con el objetivo de establecer un marcador químico de polifenoles y validar un método por cromatografía líquida de alta resolución (CLAR) para evaluar la calidad de productos semisólidos obtenidos a partir del extracto acuoso de la corteza de Rhizophora mangle L, se compararon cuatro procedimientos de extracción del analito de la muestra; donde la variante que emplea etil acetato y su aplicación directa al cromatógrafo fue la más efectiva. De los diferentes polifenoles identificados en la muestra, la epigalocatequingalato (EGCG) fue seleccionada como marcador. ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the availability of herbicides clomazone and tebuthiuron in the solution in different kinds of soils saturated with water or vinasse. Samples of 30 soils with different characteristics were arranged on trays to the herbicides spraying. Then they were homogenized, placed in plastic cartridges and saturated with deionized water or vinasse, and remaining at rest during 18 hours. Xylose production from sugarcane bagasse by surface response methodology AGRIAMBI

The aim of this study was to optimize the production of xylose from sugarcane bagasse. The hydrolysis process was carried out to evaluate the effect of temperature and sulphuric acid concentration on the xylose production at 18, 30, and 50 min of hydrolysis. A Central Composite Rotatable Design (CCRD) was used to study two process variables, temperature (111.5; 114.0; 120.0; 126.0 and 128.5 ºC) and sulphuric acid concentration (0.20; 0.70; 1.90; 3.10 and 3.60% v v-1). Sulphuric acid had a greater influence on the hydrolysis process than temperature. At concentrations of sulphuric acid higher than 3.10% (v v-1), raising temperature had little influence on the yield of xylose production. ผลปาล์มน้ำมันเป็นแหล่งบีตา-แคโรทีนทางธรรมชาติที่สำคัญ ยังไม่มีรายงานถึงปริมาณบีตา-แคโรตีนในพันธุ์ปาล์มน้ำมันต่างๆ ที่ปลูกในประเทศไทย รวมถึงการวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณบีตา-แคโรทีนแบบรวดเร็ว วัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยเพื่อวิเคราะห์ปริมาณบีตา-แคโรทีน ในผลปาล์มน้ำมันพันธุ์ต่างๆ ใน 2 พื้นที่ปลูก ได้แก่ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรีและจังหวัดทางภาคใต้ของประเทศ การวิเคราะห์แบบรวดเร็วโดยวิธีสเปกโตรสโกปีแบบ NIR เทียบกับวิธีสเปกโตรสโกปีแบบ UV-Vis ซึ่งเป็นวิธีมาตรฐานที่ใช้ในการอ้างอิง เพื่อนำมาสร้างสมการเทียบมาตรฐานหาปริมาณบีตา-แคโรทีน ในตัวอย่างผลปาล์มน้ำมันสด พบค่าเฉลี่ยปริมาณบีตา-แคโรทีนในผลปาล์มน้ำมันตั้งแต่ 1.04 – 15.42 mg/100g fw ซึ่งแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติตามพันธุ์ปาล์มน้ำมัน ค่าเฉลี่ยของบีตา-แคโรทีนในกลุ่มตัวอย่างทางใต้ของประเทศมีค่าสูงกว่าในจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี คือ 9.41 และ...

Rice contains several kinds of bio-functional components. In this study, γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and Tocopherol, or Vitamin E were identified and their relationships to antioxidant activity using DPPH assay of both brown and pre germinated Thai rice varieties were studied. GABA are one of the two inhibitory neurotransmitters which make the neuron resistant to stimulation by excitatory neurotransmitters and inhibitor of some cancer cells activity whereas Tocopherol, or Vitamin E, which acts as antioxidant and improve blood cholesterol.
